1 ½ x 6 Female to 38mm x 3 Male.
Fits directly into Teknatool Nova  chucks without an insert.
There are many Tanner and Woodfast lathes in New Zealand that you are unable to get dedicated chucks to fit the 1 ½ x 6 spindle threads.
Teknatool no longer make an insert/or dedicated Chuck with this diameter, so many struggle on with just a face plate.
I have had these spindle raptors made that fit on a Tanner spindle 1 ½ x 6 thread and machined with a male 38 mm x 3 thread that will fit directly into the back of a Teknatool Nova chuck eliminating the insert.
This assures the chuck will run true as you don’t have thread on thread.
Another advantage is the adapter pushes the chuck out from the head stock enabling clear room to turn the back of a work piece without reverse mounting.
