The NOVA Pen Mandrel Saver MT2 is perfect for saving the centre point and the Pen Mandrel shaft from damage caused by overtightening the tailstock center.

Pen mandrels usually bend into the end indentation of your mandrel when you tighten the tailstock center point.

With the Pen Mandrel Saver, your existing mandrel shaft (such as MAND-92) goes through the hollow live center, providing support without pressure.

Your pen bushings will press against the center with little to no pressure on the mandrel shaft.
