Option 4  Send your motor complete with pulley and bracket  to us and I will set up your new Motor and unit as above   n/c for fitting. Freight is at the cost of the buyer.

A What is required to fit to my lathe ?

1: Remove red cover plate

2: Remove existing motor

3:Remove pulley

4:Remove face mount bracket (if a base mount delete this step)

5:Fit old face mount bracket to new motor

You may like to reposition the bracket so the feet are at the top which you can then use to fix the controller.

Brackets are not included as everyone has a different preference to were they want the unit to site 

6:Refit Pulley

7: Re-assemble

B Can these units fit other lathes? :

Yes please email us with your lathes details and motor shaft size

C: I have a Nova 1624 will one of these Units  fit ?  Ans:  Not easily as the pulley hole size is different on a 1624.

You will have to have the 1624 pulley drilled and sleeved 

D: I have  a tanner Fs100 Wood lathe can I use this unit  Ans : Yes we have fitted quite a few of these

At rest the digital display will show r 00 (speed)

To reverse Press “mode “ button Twice

Frd will appear

Press ^ button to rEu appears

Pulse “mode” button 4 times to return to r00

To get back to Frd use same procedure

The three digit display indicates MOTOR rpm.

With speeds past 999 an extra 0 should be added

The display can give you Various functions

F or H for motor frequency

A for amps or load on the motor

r for MOTOR speed as above

Frd or rEu for direction

All set by simply pushing the “MODE” button
