I use these jigs on my Woodcut True grind sharpening system as I am guaranteed to have the same grind every time I take a tool to the grinder.

Wasting very little metal each time I sharpen.

Having a bevel changed when grinding is a nuisance as you have to present the tool differently to the work to get a clean cut.
