As a wood turner I find having another base mount for my TruGrind is a great asset as I can have one stone coarse for shaping and grinding where the other side of my grinder is kept for sharpening with a fine stone. Adding an additional TruGrind Base slide allows you to sharpen on either wheel depending on your needs. Reversible so does both right and left sides of a bench grinder.

The Woodcut base slide will also take other tool holders like Wolvine, Sorby or homemade jigs it's so versatile.
