Our Soft Tops or Interface pads come with 12mm specially formulated rubber Velcro hook on one side and Velcro Loop on the other .We us the new high technology Velcro which is far superior to the old loop as it will handle some heat caused by friction in sanding Use interface pads to vary the density of the mandrel or to help sand tighter radiuses than the base mandrel will sand or when you want less aggressive sanding. Therefore better on warped or contoured pieces. These pads will follow the contours easier. Using a larger soft top than the diameter of the mandrel will further add suppleness of the soft top.
