For Interior use

I spray all my artworks and some utilitarian wood turned items with Wattyl Style wood

Using 30% Gloss I have found gives the best finish
Designed to be sprayed with a small gravity feed spray gun mixing 50/50 with C3 thinners applied in thin costs has achieved the finish on the pieces below.
Spray in a well vented space with appropriate carbon based filtration masks.
Once dry this product is food safe.
Note as we buy in bulk some cans may come without branding label

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND USES

Pre -Catalysed Lacquer is a single pack nitrocellulose modified lacquer. This product is available in a comprehensive range of gloss
levels, and is quick drying with a fast cure. We stock 30% only if you'd like a quote on any of the above email us. 

Pre -Catalysed Lacquer displays good scuff and abrasion resistance abng with easy sanding
properties, and has good alcohol and stain resistance. It is silky to touch, and is also resistant to scratching and whitening. This
product is ideally suited as a finish for panelling, desks, cabinets, partitioning, furniture, shop fittings, toys and interior woodwork. PreCatalysed Lacquer can be used as a self priming system, and is also ideal for use over sanding sealers such as 932-000 Sanding Sealer.

SURFACE PREPARATION
After several coats have cured (approximately 1 hour) the substrate should be sanded (280-320 grit paper) and all dust removed.
Further coats can then be applied to achieve desired finish.
APPLICATION DATA
Pre -Catalysed Lacquer can be applied by conventional spray, pressure pot, gravity airless spray, and curtain coater.
NB: Rapid drying in hot conditions may require the use of a retarder thinner to alleviate flow and dusting problems.
A retarder may also be required in humid conditions. Low temperatures may cause runs or sagging, therefore it is recommended
that heavy coats be avoided. A reduction in pot pressure may also help. Pre -Cat Lacquer is resistant to stains, water, perfume,
alcohol, heat, and steam and shows good resistance to solvents, except esters and ketones. It is not recommended however for
exposure to extreme conditions of moisture, heat or abrasion as experienced in kitchens or bathrooms.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Irritant Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid breathing vapour or sanding dust.
When using this product it is recommended that full overalls, gloves, face mask and goggles
be worn. Store container in a safe place when not in use. Do not burn container.
