Designed by Mark St. Leger, noted box maker, and are to be used on vessel’s 3” tall max and smaller.

These tools can be used to rough out hollow forms, but the best use is for finishing and final form shaping as shown on the illustration.

The # 1 Straight tool will clean up the bottom,The # 1 Hook Tool will will clean up the sides and then the hardest cut for any turner is to clean up the shoulder which the # 1 Shoulder or Back tool is designed to reach.The components or accessories for the # 1 Taper Tools are the same for the # 1 Cutters.

These tools have a 3/8” 9.5 mm round shank and require handles turned by the end user.
