Designed specifically for use with 5/8" and 1 1/8" diameter round tools. The Phil Irons Tool Gate is safe and easy to use for all skill
levels, it features a pivoting 'U' shaped saddle that supports the tool providing excellent tool control while cutting.
The gate extension platform connects firmly to the tool support post. By rotating the gate extension in the tool rest support you have an almost endless choice of angles to work from. An adjustable locking collar on the tool post can be secured in place after the correct tool height has been achieved.
The Irons Tool Gate will work with Pro-Forme hollowing tools, Stewart tools, Sorby RS2000 tools, Berger hollowing tools and many others.

Includes 5/8" and 1 1/8" 'U' shaped tool guides, platform.

Posts are universal fitting for  The Wood-Cut Bowl saver, Promount and Irons tool gate. So if you already have a post you only need purchase The  Irons tool gate without post

NOTE: In order to keep the costs of the tool posts at a minimum they are made in standard lengths and may need

cutting down to suit individual lathes.
